I love Jake's. I grew up on Jake's. I am a lot nostalgic on this one. Just about every Friday night my mom would pile us in the car (me, my sister, & a few neighborhood kids) and off we would go. We would first go roller skating at the Piggy Wiggy (gosh did I love that place) and then on the way home it would be a stop for a snack at Jake's. It was plain pizza, a coke, and table top Ms. Pacman. It didn't get any better. The inside hasn't changed...the smell, the sign, and even the Ms. Pacman is still there. And the pizza, yummy! It is thin crust, cheesy, hot out of the oven goodness. It has even got those wonderful dough bubbles that have not popped. Always done to perfection and always fresh and hot. It also has just the right amount of sauce, not too dry and not too sloppy. Jake's will always have a special place in my heart and it doesn't hurt that it is as delicious as ever!

Hands down best pizza!!! I have eaten a lot of pizza from all around and this is still number one in my book, words can't describe you must eat it! Great quality ingredients and wonderful family owned business.

Two stars because I feel bad giving one. It's terrible. It reminds me of a .99 billy boys frozen pizza. It was nothing that it's hyped up to be. I wonder if any of these reviewers had any other pizza ever in their life?

Driving through area, love trying pizza from around the country. Hesitant due to small town and few reviews. But results: Friendly, Fast service. Seems more of a takeout, however a few tables with little ambiance. Ordered large pepperoni, mushroom, x-cheese. Great thin crust pizza! We were very pleased! We were going to have few pieces then continue on the road, but ended up nearly killing the whole thing, and in our bliss, also neglected to add a photo. I believe that they only have few reviews due to probably mostly local clientele, of which few if any are probably yelpers. You won't be disappointed, but again, not much of an eat in place. Have other great food options as well.

I have been patronizing Jake's ever since it has been established. It is not quite like any other pizza. If you never have be sure to get pepperoni on it. There is something special about it the way it curls up and crisps a little.

Simply put, awesome people, awesome pizza. I haven't had much else. I know that they have other foods than pizza. I would assume that it would be just as delicious as their pizza. They have a fridge with soda and some other drinks. It's also a friendly environment, especially if you get to know the workers. 5 of 5 stars :)

Every time I go back to my hometown, I always make it a "must do" to get my fix for a Jake's Pizza with EXTRA CHEESE! Yum... the NBV, original location is JUST FINE! It's small and doesn't need "ambiance". It's a place to get your pizza and go...

I grew up in Belle Vernon and to this day Jakes is still my all time favorite pizza. I love how things just never change there. If youre the best, why bother trying to change anything. The pepperoni pizza is amazing.
